Cary T-Visa Immigration Lawyer
The government supports victims of sex trafficking and labor trafficking by providing temporary status through a T visa.
How does trafficking happen? Traffickers make false promises of employment or work or, in any other way, lure the victims into sex and labor slavery.
Severe Forms of Trafficking
-There are two types of trafficking incorporated into federal law that are considered severe forms of trafficking.
-Sex Trafficking involves people under the age of 18 for the purpose of the commercial sex act by force, fraud, or coercion.
-Labor Trafficking involves people for labor or services by force, fraud, or coercion.
